nipinet is a two-spirit, nonbinary Michif, Anishinaabe, and mixed european-descent artist. they are a direct descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation with family roots in belcourt, north dakota and winnipeg, manitoba. they grew up just outside the twin cities, minnesota and currently live in madison, wi on traditional ho-chunk territory. they are a tattoo artist at and owner of red clover tattoo collective.
